The Vitalion project has been to create songs about the various trades and street sellers in Victorian England.It is an attempt to bring to life the day to day lives of the Costermonger, the Grubber .the Tosher,the Mushy Fakir the winkle seller.the crawler the night soil men and a host of others.As the journey through the various trades unfolds it highlights the excesses of the class-ridden society of Victoriana where the super rich indulged in every excess whilst the majority eked a paltry living battling poverty hunger and every imaginable hardship.

its an evening to celebreate the genius of the working classes in their struggle to survive and also a chance to look back on the advances they have made and also perhaps to view it in our current struggle with the powers that be who it seems would welcome a revival of The Good Old Days.
