GU-RU are a Leicester-based collective whose sound has been described as a “bouillabaisse of Cosmic funk, soul and Full-Tilt-Motor-Groove” (FMF), drawing inspiration from diverse artists such as The Doors, Todd Terje, Tame Impala and Herbie Hancock. 2018 has seen GU-RU tour throughout the UK and Europe, playing alongside the likes of Gogol Bordello, Manic Street Preachers and The Levellers.
